Love is the spiritual medium of the universe. The fourth or heart chakra is the seat of love and relationship serving both physical and spiritual functions as the crucible of human experience; being a spiritual being in a physical body.  Both realities are essential and inescapable. 

In this class we work with the essential nature of love, how it is cultivated and sustained, spiritually and emotionally. We'll break many patterns and tendencies down to see their source in our experience. Practical suggestions for good relationship and childrearing will be offered for class discussion.

From this foundation in the elements of loving relationship, we'll look at the soul values that circumscribe the interconnecting web of Celtic cultural relationships. The Celtic scholar Tom Cowan, accounts that, “Everything has a spirit, soul, personality, and can communicate.  Each culture has its own way of explaining these mysteries, what they signify and what ramifications are for human beings.”   Cowan goes on to explain that most Europeans believed in an animate creation until the seventeenth century. Reclaiming that way of being, we'll translate our skills of relationship to Nature, in do doing,  serve to mend the tear in the web of life created  by western culture.

We will continue to develop the ACP core practices of spiritual practice, meditation, guided visualizations, movement and community building through shared personal inquiry and ceremony. The ceremony for this class the Council of All Beings developed by Joanna Macy.
Energy healing option
 The fourth chakra governs the heart and lungs.  We'll review their anatomy and function energetically and well as physically. Then learn the skills of:
  • Reverse Chelation for patients with heart conditions
  • Healing Relationship Chords, the energetic "heart strings" that become damaged in unhealthy relationships and unreconciled loss of loved ones.
